Meet Max our captain
With over 12 years working in the nautical industry, I have sailed around the Mediterranean, Southern Caribbean, Argentine Coast and Southern Brazilian Coast.
I am very passionate about the sea and sailing. I like experiences! I started sailing when I was younger and as I learned I fell more and more in love with sailing. I decided I wanted to work in this environment, the sea. Since then, my work has been related to tourism and customer service.
I started working with who was my first instructor taking couples on a full moon honeymoon sail in Argentina. Between studies, university and sailing courses I worked for a few years in Patagonia as a guide to see marine mammals, penguins, whales, dolphins, sea lions and seabirds, doing the summer season in Patagonia and living in Brazil for the rest of the year.
Already living in Brazil, I was a civil lifeguard for the State of Santa Catarina during the summer in Praia do Rosa for 5 years, a place where during the pandemic and without the possibility of traveling abroad, I founded the Ibiraquera Sailing School for children in the optimist class in Ibiraquera Lagoon.
I arrived in Europe in 2016 and during all these years during the summer season I had the opportunity to sail through a large part of the Mediterranean Sea, Balearic Islands, Costa Brava of Spain. French Blue Coast, Corsica, Sardinia, Southern Italy, Napoli, Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Aeoli Islands and Greece. I started as a deckhand or sailor and later became Skipper/Captain. I have been working as a skipper for the largest boat charter company in the world for over 6 years. Italy.
I have a great ability to make people feel at ease and help them, through my service, to achieve their dreams.
So TripUp was born with the aim of providing experiences that I can guarantee will be unforgettable.The world is beautiful and everyone should have the opportunity to see it!
With my experience and knowledge came the opportunity to offer people the possibility of achieving an experience unknown to many.
The mission is clear: to take aventurers to the most beautiful destinations in a unique and exclusive way, through boat, sailing and catamaran rentals. Each route designed with care and precision, every detail carefully thought out to make each experience memorable.
