our captain
With over 12 years of experience in the nautical industry, I've sailed the Mediterranean, the Southern Caribbean, the Argentine Coast, and the Southern Brazilian Coast.
I'm deeply passionate about the sea and sailing. I love experiences! I started sailing when I was young, and as I learned, I fell more and more in love with it. I decided I wanted to work in this field, with the sea. Since then, my work has been related to tourism and customer service.
I started working with my first instructor, taking couples on a full-moon honeymoon sailing trip in Argentina. Between studying, university, and sailing courses, I worked for a few years in Patagonia as a guide watching marine mammals, penguins, whales, dolphins, sea lions, and seabirds, spending the summer in Patagonia and living in Brazil the rest of the year.
Already living in Brazil, I was a civil lifeguard for the State of Santa Catarina during the summer in Praia do Rosa for 5 years, where during the pandemic and without the possibility of traveling abroad, I founded the Ibiraquera Sailing School for children in the optimist class in Lagoa de Ibiraquera.
I arrived in Europe in 2016, and during my summer vacation, I've had the opportunity to sail across much of the Mediterranean Sea, the Balearic Islands, Spain's Costa Brava, France's Côte d'Azur, Corsica, Sardinia, Southern Italy, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, and Greece. I started as a deckhand and later became a skipper/captain. I've been working as a skipper for Italy's largest charter company for over six years.
I have a great ability to make people feel at ease and help them, through my services, achieve their dreams.
So TripUp was born with the goal of providing experiences that I guarantee will be unforgettable. The world is beautiful, and everyone should have the opportunity to see it!
With my experience and knowledge came the opportunity to offer people the possibility of achieving an experience unknown to many.
The mission is clear: to take Brazilian adventurers to the most beautiful destinations in Italy in a unique and exclusive way, through boat rentals, sailing boats, and catamarans. Each route is designed with care and precision, every detail meticulously thought out to ensure each experience is memorable.
